AP
AP ART & DESIGN
AP Art and Design course, you’ll develop the skills that artists and designers use and create a portfolio of work you’ll submit for an AP score.
The AP Art and Design Program includes three different courses and portfolio exams:
AP 3D ART & DESIGN
Develop your skills in a three-dimensional medium such as sculpture, architectural models, metalwork, ceramics, glass work, jewelry, and others as you learn the principles of 3-D design. You’ll create artwork that reflects your own ideas and skills and what you’ve learned.
AP 2D ART & DESIGN
Develop your skills in a two-dimensional medium such as graphic design, photography, collage, printmaking, and others as you learn the principles of 2-D design. You’ll create artwork that reflects your own ideas and skills and what you’ve learned.
AP DRAWING
Develop your skills in drawing, painting, mixed media, etc. as you explore different media and approaches. You’ll create artwork that reflects your own ideas and skills and what you’ve learned.
