Mr. Drew Mundsinger

Drew Mundsinger was born and raised in Oswego and graduated from Oswego High School in 1993. He received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Cornell College, in Mount Vernon, Iowa, where he was also a member of the Cornell wrestling team. He returned to Oswego and began teaching third grade at Old Post Elementary School in 1997 and later transferred to East View Elementary, where he taught fifth grade for three years. During that time, he decided to become a media director and work in a learning resource center (LRC). After beginning his graduate program at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, he was hired as the first LRC director at Fox Chase Elementary School. From there, he migrated to Oswego High School in 2002 and directed the redesign of the LRC. Mundsinger is currently the Director of Library Media Services and is the Secondary District Director for AVID. He has previously coached wrestling and bass fishing at Oswego High School. He and his wife have a son and triplets (two girls and a boy). He loves the outdoors, especially rock climbing and camping, and relaxing with a good book.
